1 · Who we are

Chariot Garage is operated by JGP1 Consultancy Limited, registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI702769. Data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR.

2 · What we collect

• Account details: name and email address, obtained from your chosen sign-in provider (Google, Apple, or Microsoft).
• Vehicle records you create: registration, make, model, VIN, MOT, service, insurance, and accessory details, plus any custom fields and notes you add.
• Uploaded files: photos and documents you choose to attach to records.
• Diagnostic data: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) retained for 30 days.

3 · How we use it

We use your data only to provide the Chariot Garage service: showing your records, sending reminders you've opted into, and supporting you when you ask. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers.

4 · Where it's stored

Microsoft Azure, UK South region. Records are encrypted at rest using Azure Storage Service Encryption and in transit over TLS 1.2+.

5 · Your rights

You can at any time:

• Export everything we hold about you (DOCX).
• Correct anything that's wrong (from inside the app).
• Ask us to delete your account and all records (14-day completion).
• Object to or restrict processing.

6 · Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking, no analytics that follow you around the internet.

7 · Children

Chariot Garage is not directed at anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

8 · Changes

We'll update this page if anything material changes. The date at the top will reflect when we last did so.
