1 · About these terms

These terms govern your use of Chariot Garage — the mobile apps and this website. Chariot Garage is operated by JGP1 Consultancy Limited, registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI702769. By creating an account, subscribing, or buying a data lookup you agree to these terms.

2 · The service

Chariot Garage lets you record and organise vehicle information — mot history, service records, insurance, accessories — and request optional third-party data lookups. Some features require a paid subscription or a pay-as-you-go purchase.

3 · Subscriptions & payments

The Annual plan is a recurring subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the relevant store under its own terms — manage or cancel from your store account. Prices shown include any taxes that apply.

4 · Pay-as-you-go data lookups

The pay-as-you-go lookups (vehicle details, vehicle specification, valuation, vdi check) are one-off in-app purchases, charged per use at the prices shown above. Because the data is delivered to you immediately, these purchases are non-refundable once the data has been supplied, except where a refund is required by law.

5 · Third-party data — accuracy & liability

Pricing data, vehicle information, and the results of all lookups (vehicle details, vehicle specification, valuation, vdi check) are supplied by third-party sources. These include government bodies such as the DVLA and DVSA and independent commercial data providers. Chariot Garage does not create or control this data.

We pass this information to you “as is”, for general information only. We cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or up to date, and Chariot Garage accepts no liability for any loss, cost, or decision arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date third-party information. You should independently verify any information before relying on it — for example before buying, selling, insuring, or registering a vehicle.

6 · No professional advice

Information and tools provided in Chariot Garage are not financial, legal, mechanical, or insurance advice. Use your own judgement and seek professional advice where appropriate.

7 · Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you enter and for keeping your account secure. Don’t misuse the service or attempt to access data you’re not entitled to.

8 · Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chariot Garage is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from third-party data as described in section 5. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9 · Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows when we last did. Continued use of Chariot Garage after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute.
